Welcome the year of the Fire Horse!

The citywide celebrations kick off on Saturday, 21 February, with a vibrant takeover of Highcross Leicester from 1pm to 6pm.

Visitors can enjoy a rich and exciting programme of performances, featuring a Leicester first: a professional face changer.

The afternoon will showcase live music with Yue opera and pipa performances, captivating traditional dances including the iconic fan and ribbon dances, as well as dynamic martial arts demonstrations such as Tai Chi.

Alongside these performances, audiences can dive into hands-on workshops and be swept away by the energy of lively lion dances and processions.
