Step Free Access 

We want everyone to navigate Highcross with ease and confidence. We offer stairless access throughout, with lifts and escalators located across all levels. Whether you're using a wheelchair, pushing a buggy, or simply prefer step-free routes, our layout is designed to support smooth and accessible movement for all visitors.

Quiet Hour

Highcross Leicester runs a regular weekly quiet hour every Saturday from 9am to 10 am. This involves the centre and its retailers working together to create a quieter-than-normal shopping environment. The hour is aimed at visitors, young and old who find large public spaces, noise and crowds of people difficult to deal with. We hope this offer builds on the great work that's been achieved over the last year with a range of our community partners to continuously work towards Highcross being an accessible environment throughout the year.

We’re proud to have a dedicated team of Wellbeing Champions, Safety Champions, and trained First Aiders on hand to support our visitors. Whether you need assistance, a moment of calm, or help in an emergency, our team is here to ensure your visit is safe, comfortable, and supported every step of the way.

Multi-Faith Room

Need a moment of peace? Highcross offers a welcoming Multi Faith Room for all, whether you follow a faith or simply seek a quiet space to reflect, pray, or meditate.

You’ll find it on the lower mall, next to our customer facilities.

Please note: it can get busy during peak times. For a quieter alternative, The City Retreat is just a 5-minute walk away.
