Highcross works with a range of community partners including schools, colleges and universities supporting a variety of educational, employability and careers opportunities.
The Centre also supports a wealth of voluntary and community projects and organisations to carry out activity at the Centre that raises awareness and supports their work.

In 2018 Highcross supported 109 community activities benefiting 961 individuals. Staff have carried out 2,108 hours of volunteering.

Charity of the Year
Highcross Charity Partner for 2019 is Wishes 4 Kids. Wishes 4 kids are a local charity focussed on granting wishes for young people who are life limited, terminally ill, have experienced life-changing physical or emotional traumas and have suffered major abuse. The charity has granted over 1,000 wishes so far and aim to collaborate with Highcross staff in a range of fundraising activities including sponsored walks, parachute jumps, pop up shops for Community week, silent auctions and more.
Highcross will continue to run its educational programme of events in 2019 including 'Learn Highcross', facilitated visits for Primary Schools and Highcross Careers Day's for secondary schools.
Throughout 2019 we will also be delivering work experience placements with our educational partner Rushey Mead Academy.
