Hammerson is a FTSE-100 Real Estate Investment Trust which operates principally in the retail sector.
Its £6.7 billion portfolio, which provides 1.6 million m2 of retail space and 105,000 m2 of offices, includes six of the Top 30 UK shopping centres and 16 retail parks. Hammerson has a track record of carrying out successful, major regeneration and development schemes. Recent multi award winning projects have included Bishops Square in London, Bullring in Birmingham, WestQuay in Southampton, Union Square in Aberdeen and, of course, Highcross Leicester.
