Highcross became the first shopping centre in the Midlands in five years to be honoured with a BCSC(British Council of Shopping Centres) Gold Award, winning the ‘In-Town Retail Scheme of more than 300,000 sq ft’ category with Bristol’s Cabot Circus and Belfast’s Victoria Square. The BCSC Gold Awards are leading accolades within the shopping centre and retail destination industry. They are designed to reward excellence in retail-led developments and recognize projects that generate improvements in the quality of the built environment.
